Ajman Beach
Long, clean and half-empty — the beach Dubai's crowds forgot
The slow seafront — cafés, sea breeze and the least hurried evening in the UAE
Ajman's corniche does what corniches did before they became attractions: a palm-lined seafront where families picnic on the lawns, joggers pace the track, shisha drifts from café terraces and the Gulf sunset performs nightly to an audience that actually lives here.
The strip runs the length of the emirate's beach — low-rise, unhurried, with a growing line of good casual restaurants and karak kiosks — and everything costs two-thirds of what it would twenty minutes south.
For visitors it's a mood as much as a place: the UAE with its shoulders down. Combine with the beach by day and the fort-and-souk quarter behind it.
