Green Mubazzarah Hot Springs

The lone mountain — and one of the greatest driving roads on Earth
Jebel Hafeet rises 1,240 metres alone from the plain — the UAE's second-highest peak and Al Ain's constant backdrop — climbed by a road regularly ranked among the world's finest drives: 11.7 km, 60 corners, immaculate tarmac sweeping to a summit café and viewing terraces.
From the top, Al Ain's oasis-green grid spreads one way and Oman's ranges the other; at dusk the city lights come up like a circuit board. The mountain's foot holds the Bronze Age beehive tombs and the Green Mubazzarah hot springs — a full day stacked on one massif.
