The Discovery Centre is Sharjah's dedicated children's science world: nine themed halls where kids drive mini cars on a road-rules track, run a TV studio, crew an airport, build in the construction zone, splash through water-physics tables and test their bodies in the sports lab.

Everything is touchable by design and staffed generously — the under-10 crowd it targets treats it as a theme park that happens to teach.

It's the standing answer to a too-hot afternoon on the Sharjah side: cheap, air-conditioned, educational by stealth, and never Dubai-crowded.
