📖 About

Where Al Zorah's lagoon meets the sea, sandbars and a quiet back-beach hide behind the mangrove line — no road, no signage, no way in but by kayak, paddleboard or a committed low-tide walk. Which is exactly why herons, egrets and the occasional flamingo treat it as theirs.

Paddling in is the whole experience: channels through the mangroves open suddenly onto white sand and glass-still water, with the Ajman skyline a distant afterthought. Beach picnics here feel earned and private.

Tides run the show — plan around high water for the paddle, and leave the sandbars as unmarked as you found them.

⭐ Highlights

  • A beach with no road to it
  • Kayak approach through mangrove channels
  • Herons, egrets and winter flamingo visits
  • Glass-calm water off the sandbars
  • True hidden-gem solitude, 30 minutes from Dubai

💡 Insider Tips

  • High tide for the paddle in and out — check tables before renting.
  • Dry-bag everything; there are no facilities and no shade.
  • Give feeding birds wide berth — this is their larder.
  • Guided sunrise kayak tours pass this way; ask operators to build in beach time.
