📖 About

At the foot of the Burj Khalifa, jets fire water 150 metres into the air across a 275-metre stage, choreographed to everything from Arabic classics and opera to Michael Jackson — illuminated by thousands of lights, and free to every person standing on the promenade.

It's the best-value spectacle in the UAE: shows run every half hour through the evening with a different soundtrack each time, so dinner nearby buys you a season ticket. The bridge to Souk Al Bahar and the mall-front rails are the classic vantage points.

Paid upgrades exist — a boardwalk that puts you 9 metres from the jets, and traditional abra rides on the lake during shows — but the free promenade experience is the genuine article.

⭐ Highlights

  • Water jets to 150m choreographed to music and light
  • Free shows every 30 minutes each evening

💡 Insider Tips

  • First show (~6 PM) catches dusk light; later shows get the full night skyline.
  • The Souk Al Bahar bridge fills 15+ minutes early on weekends.
  • Daytime shows (early afternoon, not Fridays) play to nearly empty rails.
  • Waterfront restaurant terraces effectively sell reserved seating — book for special nights.
