📖 About

The torus-shaped Museum of the Future opened in 2022 and instantly became a Dubai icon. Its stainless-steel facade is covered in flowing Arabic calligraphy — quotes about the future by Sheikh Mohammed — which doubles as the building's windows. It has been called "the most beautiful building on Earth", and at night, when the calligraphy glows, it's hard to argue.

Inside is not a museum of objects but a walk-through vision of the year 2071: you "launch" to the OSS Hope space station, wander a digital Amazon rainforest in the ecosystems floor with its DNA library of 2,400 species, recharge in a sensory wellness zone, and test near-future technology in the innovation labs. It's immersive, theatrical and unlike any other attraction in the UAE.

This is one of Dubai's hottest tickets — entry is by timed slot and weekends regularly sell out two to three weeks ahead, so book online well before your trip.

⭐ Highlights

  • OSS Hope space station experience on the top floor
  • The Heal Institute — digital Amazon and the DNA library vault
  • Al Waha sensory wellness floor
  • Tomorrow Today — real prototypes of near-future tech
  • The glowing calligraphy facade — best photographed from the Emirates Towers side

💡 Insider Tips

  • Book 2–3 weeks ahead for weekends; slots are timed and enforced.
  • Start at the top (space station) and work your way down — that's the intended route.
  • The best facade photo is at night from the pedestrian bridge by Emirates Towers metro.
  • Allow extra time — most visitors stay far longer than they planned.
