Black Palace Beach (Al Sufouh)
A secret cove between royal palaces — no kiosks, no crowds, pure coastline
The palm-lined roadside view of the Burj Al Arab that locals keep to themselves
Sunset Beach owns the classic sand-level Burj Al Arab shot — but drive five minutes along Al Sufouh Road and a different composition appears: the hotel's sail rising beyond ranks of roadside date palms and palace greenery, a layered, editorial angle that looks nothing like the postcard.
The stretch near the Madinat and palace walls offers several clean sightlines where the palm rows, manicured verges and the tower align. Photographers use the palms as natural frames; at golden hour the fronds go bronze against the white sail.
It's a roadside stop rather than a destination — but paired with Black Palace Beach below (walk down one of the sand tracks) you get two of Dubai's best-kept photo secrets in a single kilometre.
