📖 About

Kite Beach is Dubai's active beach: kitesurfers carving the wind, beach volleyball courts in constant use, a 14 km running-and-cycling track behind the sand, and an open-air gym crowd that treats the shoreline like a stadium.

It's equally famous for its food scene — this is the home of Dubai's food-truck culture, including the cult burger kiosk SALT — and for its view: the Burj Al Arab rises directly down the shoreline, making this the classic sunset photo spot in the city.

Facilities are excellent (showers, wifi, kids' play areas), the vibe is younger and sportier than JBR, and on winter evenings the whole beach turns into one long picnic.

⭐ Highlights

  • Kitesurfing hub — lessons and rentals on site
  • SALT and the original food-truck line-up
  • Straight-on Burj Al Arab sunset views
  • 14 km running/cycling track and volleyball courts
  • Free entry, free wifi, full facilities

💡 Insider Tips

  • Sunset is the moment — arrive an hour early on winter weekends to claim sand.
  • First kitesurf lesson? Book ahead; the wind window is mornings and late afternoons.
  • The water gets choppy when the kites are happiest — swimmers should stay in flagged zones.
  • Parking overflows on weekends; ride-hail is easier after 4 PM.
